The client, a leading provider of tax, compliance, and accounting software solutions, is seeking a skilled Manual Tester to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience in manual testing methodologies and a strong background in Tax/Compliance/Accounting software. We are open to reviewing candidates with Manual testing experience, particularly those with a background in the Microsoft stack/environment and Agile methodologies Key Responsibilities: Conduct manual testing of tax, compliance, and accounting software applications to ensure functionality, usability, and performance meet established standards. Create and execute test cases, test scripts, and test plans based on project requirements and specifications. Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other team members to identify and resolve software defects and issues. Participate in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives. Assist in the development and maintenance of automated test scripts using tools like Selenium, Cucumber, or similar frameworks. Perform regression testing, integration testing, and system testing as part of the software development lifecycle. Document test results, defects, and testing progress, and provide regular updates to stakeholders Required Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent work experience). Proven experience as a manual tester in the Tax/Compliance/Accounting software domain. Familiarity with the Microsoft stack/environment, including Windows operating systems, SQL Server, and .NET framework. Experience working in Agile environments using methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Experience with test automation tools and frameworks is a plus (Selenium, Cucumber, etc.).
