Registered Nurse (RN) | Telemetry Location: Salisbury, NC Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $1,930 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/27/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Telemetry Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 2 years required. License: Current nursing license required. Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS required. Must-Have: Experience with IV starts and telemetry monitoring. Ability to care for pre and post-procedure cardiac patients. Experience with cardiac drips. Ability to manage a patient assignment of 5-6 patients. Description: The position requires a registered nurse with experience in a challenging and busy telemetry environment. Travelers are accepted, including first-time travelers. Nurses should be comfortable taking 6 patients during surge times. Weekends are required, with every other weekend and additional Mondays and Fridays in a 6-week schedule. The unit cares for stable pre/post-operative patients following various cardiac procedures. Nurses will monitor patients with unstable angina, low-risk chest pain evaluations, and heart failure. Nurses will administer and manage multiple cardiac drips including, but not limited to, Cardizem, Dopamine, and Amiodarone. The position involves working with telemetry and pulse oximetry equipment. High flow oxygen therapy is utilized for stable patients. Nurses must work within established guidelines for patient care during COVID-19 surges. Candidates should demonstrate effective teamwork and meet behavioral expectations in interaction with patients and staff. The role requires a strong adherence to policies regarding call-offs and scheduling. Floating to other units based on patient census may be necessary. Travel pairs are permitted under specific conditions. Compliance with the fatigue policy is necessary; travelers cannot work more than 5 consecutive days.
