We have an exciting opportunity for an IT Business Analyst at our manufacturing facilities across the United States. If you are a technical expert in the rollout of new systems, thrive under pressure, enjoy solving problems, and love working through challenges, then this role is for you! In your new role, you will support key manufacturing IT systems including Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) of Siemens Mobility GmbH across multiple manufacturing locations (estimated domestic and international travel 30%), within an existing and evolving system landscape. We are looking for an excellent communicator to collaborate with Senior Managers and other business leaders to translate sophisticated technical ideas into clear terms, so any proficiency in the German language is a plus! What your day-to-day will look like: - Be responsible for the support and operation of Manufacturing Execution System (MES) and related secondary systems in the Manufacturing Operations Management (MOM) software landscape
- Serve as the key contact for manufacturing IT system providers and plant managers, handling ongoing services and new demands.
- Take part in designing and establishing new warehouse setups within current or new plants, integrating them into the existing systems.
- Steer the strategic development of MES and EWM systems and oversee global migration projects.
- Coordinate with IT and manufacturing teams to ensure smooth technology integration improving efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and implement custom solutions and cloud-based hosting approaches, including requirements and their approvals.
- Work with partners to resolve incidents and identify system-wide improvements.
- Lead multi-functional projects, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery.
- Serve as a local authority on new trends and technologies in manufacturing automation and digital technologies.
