The registered nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating all care for patients admitted to the ED during his/her shift.
Training and Continued Education
Opportunities for further education and training are available to our employees.
Minimum Education - Graduation from a school of nursing and have current licensure as an RN.
- One year Med/Surg experience preferred. Required Licenses
- Current RN license required, can be compact license.
- BLS required within 30 days of hire, or prior to completion of orientation if before 30 days of hire.
- ACLS required within 6 months.
- PALS required within 6 months.
