We are looking for Pavement Marking Techs to join our team! New hires with a Class A CDL will receive a $2000 sign on bonus. New hires without a Class A CDL will receive a $1500 sign on bonus. Position will be expected to learn, while on the job and in the classroom, how to safely and properly implement pavement marking installation, removal, and traffic control devices according to NCDOT Standards. May include general labor, proper loading, securing, and unloading of work trucks, layout of roadways, traffic control, setting up/taking down road signs, pre-trip/post-trip inspections, driving backup cushion trucks, operating hand equipment such as blowers and grinders, preparing striping equipment Follow all safety rules and regulations and wear proper safety equipment (to include but not limited to: work boots - 6 inches with safety toe, hard hat, safety glasses, and safety vest) Ability to complete daily required paperwork Adhere to all Company Policies and Procedures Work well in a team environment Good communication skills Take pride in your work by providing the highest level of customer service Excellent attendance required, dependable transportation, good work ethic All other duties as assigned Benefits: Sign on bonus! Work Environment / Physical Requirements: Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions; moving equipment and machinery parts; moving traffic, and fumes and airborne particles Noise level of the work environment is usually moderate/loud Frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch.
