The 3rd Shift Packer/Shrink Wrap Operator inspects, packs, and stacks cases of tape according to documented work instructions





ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

o Assists Material Handler in obtaining and assembling cartons according to customer code specifications

o Inspects tape to make a decision on the quality

o Packs tape into the appropriate carton

o Sets up shrink wrap or PDC machine

o Removes seconds and rewinds from first quality

o Stacks completed cartons on the correct type of pallet

o Assists manual assistant in making a correct finished goods tag

o Performs cleaning and housekeeping duties

o Makes safety and preventative maintenance inspections
