Position Summary:Catalent Pharma Solutions in Morrisville, NC is hiring a Supplier Quality Assurance Associate for the Quality team. This position is responsible to ensure compliance with the supplier quality management system. This includes material and supplier selection, qualification of new suppliers and requalification of existing suppliers, management of supplier status through supplier risk assessment, handling of supplier complaint and supplier notifications, and maintenance of approved supplier list. The Supplier Quality Assurance Associate will interact with other departments or divisions within Catalent specifically, supply chain, procurement, business development, product development, manufacturing operations, and laboratory operations.This is a full-time role position: Monday - Friday, days.Catalent is a global, high-growth, public company and a leading partner for the pharmaceutical industry in the development and manufacturing of new treatments for patients worldwide. • Primary supplier quality liaison for clients and internal customers
• Provide SQA support for customer audits
• Assess Global Supplier Notifications and Supplier Complaints
• Perform supplier audits via questionnaires and assess supplier audits performed by Catalent Global Supplier Quality Management
• Support the supplier and material selection process
• Manage onboarding of new suppliers and materials
• Manage the site approved supplier list and supplier performance
• Support additional supplier management needs as directed by management
• All other duties as assigned;The Candidate
  • Bachelors degree in science, engineering, or similar is required; Masters degree is preferred
  • 1 or more years of quality or other related experience in a pharmaceutical environment
  • Experience in Supplier Quality Management or Quality Assurance is highly preferred
  • Ability to identify potential quality or compliance concerns and escalate to management
  • Basic mathematical and scientific reasoning ability
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate with peers and demonstrate leadership capabilities
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage multiple overlapping timelines
