We are seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist for inpatient locum coverage in New York. This role offers weekday inpatient psychiatry coverage with limited call responsibilities in a collaborative hospital setting.

Assignment Details:

• Start: July 2026
• Ongoing coverage
• Inpatient psychiatry unit

Schedule:

• Monday Friday
• 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
• 1 2 weekends per month required
• At least one weeknight of phone call coverage required

Practice Setting:

• Hospital-based inpatient psychiatry
• 14-bed inpatient unit
• EMR: Epic

Work Details:

• Inpatient psychiatric evaluations and management
• Daily rounding and treatment planning
• Collaborative care with APP support

Team Structure:

• 1 2 Nurse Practitioners onsite
• Locum physician functions as primary psychiatrist on unit

Requirements:

• Board Certified Psychiatrist
• Active New York license required
