Registered Nurse (RN) | Interventional Radiology Location: Glens Falls, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,778 per week Shift Information: 4 days x 9 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/16/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Interventional Radiology Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Days Hours per Shift: 4 ten-hour shifts or 5 eight-hour shifts Experience: Previous experience in Interventional Radiology required License: New York RN license required Certifications: ACLS, BLS required Must-Have: Previous IR experience ACLS and BLS certification Experience with adolescent and geriatric patients Experience with procedural sedation, circulation, recovery phase Ability to float to Cardiac Catheterization Lab Previous traveler experience preferred Description: COVID vaccinations are mandatory for this position. Proofs must be uploaded with profile. The Interventional Radiology Lab provides care to acute inpatient and elective outpatient populations. Care is primarily provided through an interdisciplinary team of specialized physicians and registered nursing staff. Staff is available 24/7 for any emergency procedures during off hours, weekends, and holidays. Procedures include angiograms, peripheral revascularization, placement and maintenance of hemodialysis catheters, and nephrostomy drainage tubes. Other responsibilities involve placement and maintenance of gastrostomy and jejunostomy tubes, central line placement, and various pain management interventions. Nursing care includes pre and post-care for patients undergoing renal, liver, and lung biopsies, as well as carotid stenting. The patient population includes adolescent to geriatric individuals.
