This role is pivotal in providing top-notch medical observation and care to patients who are under evaluation or treatment in the emergency department. Situated in our state-of-the-art facilities, this position offers the opportunity to work alongside leading medical professionals and utilize cutting-edge medical technology to impact patient outcomes. Assess patient condition and establish immediate care needs to stabilize patients in the ED Observation unit. Implement physician orders and monitor patient vitals and progress. Administer medications and treatments accurately and promptly. Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to facilitate comprehensive patient care. Educate patients and their families regarding treatment plans and expected outcomes. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Ensure the effective operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and requesting repairs. Strong clinical judgment and ability to work under high pressure. Effective communication and patient care skills. Proficiency in clinical systems and technology used in patient care.
