This position plays a vital role in our company's mission to ensure the safe and compliant disposal of hazardous materials, support emergency spill responses, and perform industrial cleaning services. As a Class B Driver with Clean Harbors, you will be an essential part of our operations, directly contributing to the protection of the environment and enhancing sustainability throughout the region. Operate Class B vehicles in compliance with company policies and local, state, and federal regulations. Transport hazardous materials and waste with an unwavering commitment to safety and environmental standards. Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition and compliant with regulatory requirements. Coordinate with logistics and dispatch teams to manage routes and schedules effectively. Respond to emergencies and spills in a timely manner as part of the emergency response team. Maintain accurate logs of travel and cargo details using electronic and paper tracking systems. Communicate effectively with customers and internal teams to facilitate seamless service delivery. Valid Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Hazardous Materials Endorsement. Good mechanical skills to manage minor vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting. Strong navigation and driving skills. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Ability to operate electronic logging devices and other technology used in transportation.
