This role is pivotal in delivering advanced neurological care, engaging in clinical excellence, and supporting the progressive care of neurology patients. The successful candidate will work within an innovative environment where teaching, research, and advanced patient care form the bedrock of our mission. Provide direct and comprehensive nursing care to patients in the Neuro Progressive Care Unit. Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team. Administer medications and monitor patients for side-effects and responses. Operate neurological monitoring equipment and ensure the comfort and safety of patients. Collaborate with physicians and other medical professionals to optimize patient outcomes. Lead and mentor junior nursing staff and participate in professional development and research opportunities. Document patient care services by charting in patient and department records. Advanced clinical skills in neurology and progressive patient care. Proficient in using medical software and neurological monitoring tools. Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor junior staff. Excellent communication and teamwork capabilities.
