Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Potsdam, NY Agency: Job.com LLC Pay: $2,300 to $2,400 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Provide comprehensive care throughout labor, delivery, recovery, postpartum, and newborn stages. Assist with vaginal and cesarean deliveries. Monitor fetal heart tones using external fetal monitoring systems. Recognize and respond to abnormal fetal heart rate patterns. Administer medications including antihypertensives and pain management (epidural, opioids). Initiate and manage IV therapy, including administration of blood products. Perform sterile vaginal exams and triage obstetric patients. Provide postpartum care including fundal checks, lochia assessment, perineum care, and Foley catheter management. Conduct newborn assessments and discharge teaching for parents, including circumcision and newborn care. Maintain accurate, timely documentation using Meditech / IntelliSpace Perinatal systems. Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams using SBAR communication. Requirements Minimum 2 years in Labor & Delivery / LDRP Active New York RN License BLS Certification NRP Certification ACLS Certification Charting System Experience: Meditech / IntelliSpace Perinatal preferred Labor & Delivery, LDRP, Mother/Baby Fetal monitoring, triage, and obstetric emergency management Administration of blood products & IV therapy Postpartum and newborn care Isolation precautions and PPE compliance More...
