Operate commercial vehicles to transport goods to various destinations within scheduled timeframes. Inspect vehicles for mechanical and safety issues prior to departure, and perform preventative maintenance as required. Manage routes and routines strategically to avoid delays and maximize efficiency. Load and unload cargo, ensuring all shipments are properly secured and documented. Maintain accurate travel logs according to federal and state regulations. Adhere to all safety requirements, including regular checks and following proper accident procedures. Communicate effectively with dispatch and logistics staff to improve on-time deliveries and customer satisfaction.
