Overview: Do you love performing in front of an audience? As an entertainer at Six Flags Great Escape, the whole park is your stage! You will be providing long lasting memories to our guests through character meet-and-greets, dance parties, performances, and much more! We are looking for a variety of speciality skills including; Actors, Singers, Dancers, Specialty Performers (juggles, magicians, stilt walkers, etc.) and Escorts for Costumed Characters, Responsibilities: What You Will Be Doing Welcome, entertain, interact, meet, greet and assist guests on midways and in show venues Perform as an animated character in a variety of costumes Entertain park guests in a professional manner, and ensure a positive experience for every guest Be alert and aware of guest disturbances or harassment of actors in the designated zone Serve as a contact point between actors and Public Safety if any such issues arise Maintain cleanliness and safety of attraction, zone, or performance venue Facilitate friendly interactions with guests who have concerns or questions Comply with all Great Escape Resort policies and procedures Wear appropriate uniform and behave in the manner that fits management Provide the services in a fast and safe manner How You Will Do It Maintain costume character standards as set forth by Six Flags Maintain character costumes including general cleaning and daily maintenance Maintain and clean show venues, backstage areas, and dressing rooms Maintain all of the guidelines outlined in the department and character training Willfully perform duties in any department at The Great Escape Resort when necessary Be an active team member of the Operations Division and the Entertainment Department Maintain a clean and safe environment for guests and team members Follow all delegated tasks assigned by Entertainment Supervisor or as stated in the Entertainment Standard Operating Procedures Performs other incidental and related duties as required and assigned Why work with us?
