Registered Nurse (RN) | Medical-Surgical Location: New York City, NY Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,228 per week Shift Information: 3 days Contract Duration: 6 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: RN Specialty: Med/Surg Duration: 6 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 11.5 hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years in specialty within the last 3 years License: New York State RN License Certifications: AHA BLS, COVID vaccinated prior to start date Must-Have: - BSN - Travel experience in a Level 1 Trauma setting - 2 references from most recent assignment within skill set - Willingness to float to appropriate units Description: The position involves working in the Emergency Room and Medical/Surgical Overflow. The job is available for the winter season with options for weekly start dates. Shifts are 11.5 hours overnight from 7:30 PM to 8:00 AM. Total hours expected per week are 40.25, based on a rotating schedule. There is no call requirement for this position. Every other weekend will be required. Float requirements include areas within acuity. Both flu and COVID vaccinations are mandatory with no declinations accepted. Local travelers are not subject to different rates than those from outside locations. Scrub requirements include navy bottoms with a white top or all white attire. Shoes must correspond in color to the scrub attire. Candidates should complete the skills checklist matching required skill sets. Experience with electronic medical records is necessary.
