Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: CVICU - Discipline: RN - Start Date: ASAP - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - CVICU Job Details: • Epic experience required • Navy blue scrubs required • Trauma Level One experience required • Competency test required within 24 hours of submission • Accepting 48-hour guaranteed hour requests • 2-3 years of staff CVICU experience required • Provide care for immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients requiring ICU level care • Manage high acuity patients with advanced hemodynamic monitoring • Must be competent with ventilators, arterial lines, spinal drains, hemodynamic monitoring, ECG interpretation and monitoring • Experience with temporary pacemakers required • Proficient in vasoactive and inotropic drip titrations • Work with critically ill cardiovascular patients in intensive care setting Facility: This major medical center serves as a comprehensive healthcare facility providing advanced cardiac and vascular surgical services.
