Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Colo-Rectal Surgery - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel RN Position Job Notes: Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2 years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available. Opportunity: RN - Med Surg Job Details: • Work in post-surgical setting caring for patients who have undergone colorectal and urologic surgery • Collaborate closely with Wound Ostomy and Continence Nurses for ostomy and wound care needs • Care for post-operative patients with TPN, NG tubes, and central lines • Epic experience required • Navy blue scrubs required • 1 year of experience required at a 600 bed academic hospital with passing competency testing score, or 2 years of experience with no testing required • Competency test required within 24 hours of submission, sent via email • No block schedule or 48-hour requests • Local candidates from certain ineligible counties not being accepted • Up-to-date email address must be provided at time of submission Facility: This major academic medical center is a 600 bed facility that provides comprehensive healthcare services including specialized surgical programs.
