Registered Nurse (RN) | Stepdown Location: Rochester, NY Agency: Revolution Healthcare Services Pay: $2,914 per week Shift Information: 4 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 2/24/2026 About the Position Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, Progressive Care Unit – New York Start Date: February 24, 2026 Location: Rochester, New York Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants Schedule: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, four 12-hour shifts per week, 13-week contract Highlights: Progressive Care Unit with 1:4-5 nurse-to-patient ratios working with adult and geriatric populations Care for diverse patient mix including long-term pulmonary patients, ENT surgery, and post-surgical patients requiring stepdown-level monitoring Work at a 528-bed Magnet-recognized acute care teaching facility with Advanced Thrombectomy Capable Stroke Center certification EPIC charting system; 16 hours of paid orientation provided Every other weekend requirement with flexibility for two pre-approved time-off requests Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, rapid response teams, and pharmacy Requirements: Active New York Single State RN license (must be in hand prior to submission; pending licenses not accepted) Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required Minimum one year of recent progressive care, stepdown, or telemetry experience EPIC charting experience required Previous travel nursing experience strongly preferred Proficiency in telemetry monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, cardiac drip management (non-titration), blood product administration, and central/peripheral line care Experience with oxygen therapy, non-invasive airway management, IV therapy, and isolation precautions Must reside more than 75 miles from the facility Willingness to float within skillset to ICU and medical-surgical units as needed Why It's a Great Opportunity: Join a prestigious Magnet-recognized teaching hospital offering advanced specialty care through nationally affiliated institutes and centers.
