Radiology Tech Location: Syracuse, NY Agency: SnapCare Pay: $3,294 per week Shift Information: Rotating - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 12 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Title: ( Radiologic Tech- Diagnostic ) - Contract Location: Syracuse , NY Job Details: • Travel Pay Rate: $47hr $1414 wk Stipend (Tax Free) • Local Pay Rate (within 50 miles): $69hr • 5 shifts X 8 hours (40 hours a week) • 12-week assignment Description of job: Radiologic Technologists at Upstate University Hospital perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating medical conditions. They ensure patient safety, maintain imaging equipment, and adhere to hospital and regulatory standards. Strong communication, attention to detail, and a commitment to high-quality patient care are essential in this fast-paced clinical environment. Qualifications: • Current BLS certifications • Current NY Rad Tech license • ARRT Certification • 1 year of experience required Responsibilities: Perform Diagnostic Imaging : Operate radiographic equipment to produce high-quality diagnostic images as ordered by physicians. Ensure Patient Safety : Follow safety protocols to minimize radiation exposure and ensure patient comfort during procedures. Maintain Equipment : Calibrate and inspect imaging equipment regularly to ensure proper functionality and compliance with regulations. Document and Report Results : Accurately document procedures and assist radiologists in reviewing and interpreting images. Collaborate with Healthcare Team : Communicate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other staff to support coordinated patient care.
