Your Role: As an RN Clinical Manager - Hematology/Oncology, you will play a crucial role in ensuring patient care is delivered by a competent and compassionate team. You will work closely with the VP of Nursing and Service Line leadership to uphold patient safety standards and support staff development. Your leadership will be key in fostering a positive and efficient work environment. Primary Responsibilities: Daily Collaboration: -Meet with Nursing Supervisors to ensure adequate staffing and skill mix for optimal patient care. Feedback & Improvement: -Gather feedback from physicians, APCs, staff, patients, and families to continuously improve patient care and services. Operational Excellence: -Work with the Director of Operations to ensure efficient office operations and support for physicians/APCs. Leadership & Mentorship: -Act as a coach and mentor to Nursing Supervisors, Team Leaders, Lead Clinical Preceptors, and clinical staff. Innovation & Change Management: -Lead performance improvement and innovation projects, being sensitive to organizational culture and core values. Effective Communication: -Share information effectively during staff meetings and interactions with the leadership team. Budget Management: -Monitor and manage departmental expenses, including staff hours, education and travel expenditures, equipment, and supplies.
