*PRIMARY FUNCTION:*To perform Echocardiography and Doppler studies on all but limited age groups for outpatients and inpatients for use by a cardiologist to diagnose patient conditions. May also perform secondary functions including, but not limited to: Cardiac Stress Testing, Holter Monitor Set-up and Scanning, Wellness Outreach, EKGs and Cardiac Rehab Exercise and Monitoring.*POSITION ACCOUNTABLE TO: *1. Assistant Director, Outpatient Services (Regulatory)2. Director of Regulatory Affairs3. Medical Director Cardiology*BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:*1. Education:a. High School Graduateb. One Year Experience in echocardiographic procedures, toinclude 2D & 3D echocardiography, M-mode, Doppler, color flow Doppler, Stress echocardiography (SE), Pharmacology and pacing stress echo, Strain Echocardiography, TEE- Transesophageal echocardiography, Contrast echo, and Bubble Study.C. Contrast Echo- Lumasond. BLS Certified certification issued by the American Heart Association (AHA)e. Must fulfill Civil Services requirementsf.
