W2 ONLY JOB NUMBER: NGGJP00016014 REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 3-5 years relevant business experience Experience working on digital product teams highly preferred Experience designing and refining value case (e.g., financial value to the business, strategic value, etc.) Experience in defining, testing, and refining product assumptions Experience in Agile product or project management At least 1-2 years working with (or within) utility Financial modeling and value case development experience JOB DESCRIPTION Hybrid 1 to 2 days a week in Syracuse Office Senior Product Strategist for our Digital Solutions team in New York (Syracuse/Brooklyn/Albany/Hicksville, Long Island NY) Job Purpose: The Senior Product Strategist is responsible for supporting the business and operations work stream within a multi-disciplinary digital product team structure. They partner closely to execute several activities, such as identifying risky assumptions, building the value case, defining the future-state process vision, executing change management plans, etc. Key Accountabilities: Support business capability assessment, design, alignment and road mapping for product line with cross-functional teams Construct business case, including value projections and detailed investment estimate; ensure these are aligned with product definition Track objectives and key results to assess benefit realization of products Proactively identify riskiest assumptions and support product team in designing and executing experiments to increase confidence in business case assumptions Support business/operation work stream team, participating in Agile sprints during full product roadmap Define future-state operations solution (process, org change), including detailed current state-process and future-state process documentation Support change mgmt. and product roll-out plan, with help from the change management team as needed Implement marketing, sales, business development, user acquisition, and user support strategies Provide support to product & technical workstreams (e.g., RFP support, stakeholder mgmt., value alignment, IT governance, IT PMO) Support preparation of materials for key stakeholder readouts (e.g., Digital Board meetings) and regulatory engagements.
