$135/hr Flexible Scheduling University Health SettingStony Brook University is seeking a Gynecology Clinical Educator & Expert Trainer for a locum tenens opportunity within Student Health Services. This role focuses exclusively on gynecology (no obstetrics) and offers $135/hour with flexible scheduling.Position Overview:
Serve as the lead clinical trainer in gynecological procedures, providing hands-on education, competency assessments, and mentorship to healthcare providers. You ll play a key role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based, and inclusive gynecologic care for a diverse student population.Key Responsibilities:

• Train and assess providers in pelvic exams, STI screening/treatment, Pap smears, and reproductive health services.
• Shadow and mentor providers to ensure adherence to best practices.
• Lead quality improvement efforts and contribute to clinical policy development.
• Collaborate on campus-wide wellness initiatives and outreach.Required:
  • MD or DO from an accredited institution
  • Board certified/eligible in OB/GYN (gynecology-focused)
  • Extensive clinical and procedural experience in gynecology
  • Experience in supervision, mentorship, and training
  • DEA License, CPR/BLS, and EHR/telemedicine proficiencyPreferred:
    • University health or outpatient gynecology experience
    • LGBTQ+ inclusive care and PrEP prescribing familiarity
