Pay Rate: $25/hour to $27/hourThrive Freeze Dry a rapidly growing manufacturer of freeze dry products is currently looking for a Human Resource Assistant to join the Albion NY HR team. Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, this role will be responsible for various activities in Human Resources. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE: The Human Resource Assistant is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level specifically for recruiting, onboarding and employee engagement activities. The successful candidate will be heavily focused on recruiting and staffing for production jobs and will coordinate the processes in the employment cycle from recruitment to termination.Utilizing ADP will be responsible for conducting onboarding for all new hires and off-boarding as employees exit the organization. Through a multi-faceted recruiting initiative, he or she actively partners with organizational leadership to identify staffing needs and to create accurate job descriptions, job postings and recruit.This role will coordinate and communicate employee engagement activities. Position will assist in handling employee questions as it relates to benefits, payroll, and company policies.REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE: 1-2 years' experience working in a Human Resources recruiting. Bi-lingual (Spanish/English) highly preferredExcellent written and verbal communication skills.High school diploma or equivalent. Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information.Proficient in Microsoft Office and prior experience working with HRIS systems.Detail oriented with ability to produce accurate work and follow instructions on a routine basis.PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE: AS/AA Degree or BA/BS DegreeExperience working in a manufacturing environment.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE: - Must be able to perform the essential functions with or without accommodation.Ability to occasionally work varied shifts.Ability to work overtime.Consistent and reliable attendance.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
