Overview: First Citizens Technology, Media and Telecommunications provides cash flow and asset based senior debt for communications and technology companies in the middle market throughout the United States . This position is responsible for the management of Technology, Media, & Telecom (TMT) portfolio accounts. Responsible for the financial risk and analysis of the portfolio through ongoing monitoring, reporting and risk management. Responsibilities: - Work with the Telecom, Media & Technology team monitoring a portfolio of TMT accounts. Industry subsectors include (a) Towers, (b) Communications, (c) Technology, (d) Gaming , (e) Entertainment/Media and (f) Data Centers.
- Engage in all aspects of a portfolio management, including quarterly reporting, annual company reviews, amendment memo preparation and presentation, legal documentation, and deal closing.
- Complete in-depth analysis of borrowers' business models, identify key potential investment risks and analyze financial trends as part of the quarterly/annual review process
- Participate in calls and meetings with existing borrowers , private equity sponsors and other market participants
- Mentor junior staff
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Ensure compliance with all FCB policies and procedures and build a firm understanding of FCB systems and resources The base pay for this position is relative to your experience but the range is generally $150,000 to $175,000 per year . This position is eligible for variable compensation, which may be in the form of incentive, bonus, or commission pay. Bachelor's Degree and 6 years of experience in Credit analysis, underwriting or Risk Management OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 years of experience in Credit analysis, underwriting or Risk Management Preferred Bachelors Degree in Business, Finance, Economics |
