Agri-Mark/McCadam/Cabot Creamery has a full-time opening for a Laboratory Technician. 8-hour shifts between hours of 4a-6p. Flexible work schedule required, including rotating weekends, and working scheduled holidays. Responsibilities include: Perform laboratory tests on milk, finished cheese and whey products, environmental samples, and ingredients in a timely and accurate manner to assure that Agri-Mark quality standards are met. Must become certified by the State of New York to perform all testing associated with the Pasteurized Milk Ordinance. Input of all analytical data into various software, as well as running reports and creating charts/graphs. Computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite are beneficial. The job requires physical requirements that mostly involve standing and sitting, some walking, bending, and occasional climbing of multiple flights of stairs. The applicant must be able to lift to 25 lbs. occasionally during a shift.
