Join us!Job Description:This job is responsible for testing and delivering complex software to accomplish business outcomes. The job establishes testing scope and coordinates test execution. Key responsibilities of the job include overseeing testing practices ensuring that software is tested to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, conditioning and generating test data, building and executing both manual and automated test suites, recording and communicating the test results, triage defects, and ensuring regression test suites are maintained and well designed.This Quality Specialist II role will analyze detailed business/functional/technical requirements and specifications for Global Banking Asset Management Specifications. Code Internally developed applications and configure commercial-off-the shelf, and open-source, applications using programming, scripting, and database languages. Identify and analyze internal organizational needs, conduct requirements, gather and define project scope and objectives. Design, develop, implement, and support internally built applications that have usage for the Data Management Team. Develop high-velocity, multithreaded, real-time data processing back-ends that interact with the bank's data warehousing systems. Use these back-end systems to integrate with internally developed APIs that will ingest and produce data/interactions for front-end dashboards/tools that will also be developed. Use Apache Storm Clusters and Kafka messaging to stream and interact with extant internal data queues, as well as Jenkins, Ansible, and AutoSys to automate environment setups and process executions. Work closely with Senior Leadership to assist and provide insight on inquiries from Regulatory bodies. Write complex SQL combining a multitude of data sets that feed into front-end dashboards/tools that will be used for metrics. Use a combination of Python, Shell and SQL to design, architect and deploy various remediation scripts for FINRA errors. Responsibilities:

  • Develops detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test cases based on functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements
  • Leads test planning, usually at a team level. When part of a Scrum team, ensure stories are well refined and contain clear acceptance criteria
  • Leads test case reviews and work with subject matter experts and stakeholders to ensure test coverage
  • Identifies automation opportunities and develop test automation for applicable test types
  • Executes test cases, including manual and automated tests, and record test results
  • Designs test data and ensure data compliance requirements are met on all levels of test environments
  • Uses testing tools and follow processes to complete testing on a given test environment, and perform necessary steps required to promote code base to higher level environmentsSkills:

    • Must include a minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field, such as banking, financial services or management, minimum of 3 years of experience in each of the following: Java, Python, Unix, SQL and minimum of 2 years of experience working with Consolidated Audit Trail Reporting.
    • Experienced with market surveillance technology and have a proven record of excellence in ability to understand and implement robust technical solutions to US and international regulatory compliance requirements.
    • Experience using testing automation technologies for market surveillance compliance to ensure data accuracy and integrity. In depth knowledge of FIX protocol and CAT reporting including proven ability to implement automated solutions for CAT reporting.
    • In depth understanding of modern database and information technologies in order to effectively utilize and improve on previously built systems.
    • Ability to analyze, interpret, compile and organize large amounts of data before presenting it to management with visualizations.
    • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work towards meeting multiple deadlines simultaneously.
    • Excellent communication skills to translate complex problems using non-technical terms.
    • Must be resourceful, detailed oriented, have solid analytical skills and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work in a fast paced environmentDesired Skills
