Summary: The Child Mind Institute is currently seeking a Reseaech Coordinator who will provide administrative oversight and support for the Autism Research Center. The successful candidate will support the implementation and management of NIH-funded and other studies investigating behavioral and cognitive neural correlates of toddlers, preschoolers and children with autism and related neurodevelopmental conditions. A range of methods are used, including functional and structural magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), physiological measures (e.g., heart rate, respiration), computer-based tasks, eye-tracking and clinical questionnaires. Responsibilities will include assistance in the planning, coordination, implementation, and conduct of research studies, superivision of research assistants, study tracking and documentation, preparation of related manuscripts, presentations, and grant materials. Reporting to the Director, Autism Research Center this is a non-exempt, full-time position located in New York City, NY, USA. Responsibilities: - Support the Research Director in the development and tracking of projects, including timelines, milestones, resource requirements, and deliverables.
- Assist in preparation of project-related documentation (e.g., IRB documentation, procedural manuals, study tracking, and progress reports).
- Support activities related to participant recruitment and enrollment goals
- Assist in preparation and management of study purchases and monetary disbursements.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with protocols.
- Organize internal and external team meetings.
- Review scientific literature, participates in continuing education activities, and/or attends conferences and seminars to maintain knowledge of clinical studies affairs and issues.
- Provide administrative assistance for research project operations.
- Assist PI with coordinating and overseeing the day to day tasks for Autism Center research assistants.
- When necessary, coordinate and participate in the acquisition of data.
