The Epic Inpatient Orders Lead has oversight over the application area and manages the integration of clinical and operational areas for the project team. Basic Qualifications : Minimum Degree Required : Bachelor Degree Minimum Years of Experience : 5 year(s) Required Certification(s): Epic Inpatient Orders Preferred Qualifications : Degree Preferred : Master Degree Functional Experience: - Provide leadership to application area
- Work with Project Director to manage scope/change requests
- Work with project leadership to define critical path
- Support documentation of decisions from design/validation session
- Document workflows for design/validation sessions, update workflows during and after sessions
- Help prepare for team/SME meetings and document notes and follow-ups
- Document/prepare decisions for governance groups
- Support clinical application teams in project status, document/track issues and risks
- Support operational workgroup functions - developing decision documents and working with operations
- Enforce project guiding principles on application design and build
- Report status over program area/escalate issues to project leadership
- Liaise with operational leaders, communicate/work with operational departments to support project goals and timeline
- Assist application teams in resolving complex issues
- Facilitate/drive decision making among clinical governance groups
Preferred Knowledge/Skills : Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success with an understanding of managing client engagements and producing solutions that involve, the following areas: - Providing healthcare provider physician practice operations subject matter specialization in clients engagements related to improving the efficiency of healthcare providerphysician practice organizations, as well as identifying strategic opportunities for growth;
- Understanding of key operational and financial drivers of success within how physician practice finances affect the financial position of a healthcare Provider organization;
- Managing client engagements or healthcare in physician practice operations leadership and producing solutions;
- Understanding the latest industry trends and regulatory changes, and their impact to organizations;
- Having knowledge of assessment of healthcare provider physician practice operating models, including strategy, capabilities, operational performance and governance models and compensation plan design;
- Understanding quality reporting requirements; - Implementing and optimizing various physician alignment models; and,
- Benchmarking to compare healthcare providerphysician practice performance and costs to leading practice, including operational results, productivity, and quality metrics.
Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success managing efforts with identifying and addressing client needs: - Building, maintaining, and utilizing networks of client relationships and community involvement;
- Communicating value propositions, utilizing PC applications such as Microsoft Office Suite or Google Tools to write and deliver proposals to prospective clients;
- Managing resource requirements, project workflows, budgets, billing and collections; and,
- Preparing and/or coordinating complex written and verbal materials.
