Responsibilities









The Department of Interdisciplinary Health Sciences seeks part-time adjunct faculty to fill possible openings in the following areas in our undergraduate health sciences programs and graduate clinical nutrition program in the following areas:Community Health, Health Information Management, Medical Terminology, Biomedical Ethics, Healthcare Payment Systems, Complementary and Alternative Medicine and Introductory and Advanced Nutrition.













Qualifications









Required Degree: Master's DegreePreferred Degree: DoctorateRequired Field of Expertise: Must have expert knowledge in a health and/or nutrition area.Preferred Experience: Candidates with higher education teaching experience, knowledge of asynchronous and synchronous online platforms and experience in using the Canvas Learning Management System are strongly preferred. New York Tech considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate experience/expertise, education/training, key skills, geographic location, internal peer equity as well as market, organizational considerations and/or applicable collective bargaining agreement when extending an offer. Adjunct Faculty offered hourly rate is contingent on applicable rank.
