Job DescriptionDescriptionPOSITION SUMMARY: Performs diagnostic and interventional procedures as requested by physicians. Provides care for patients while obtaining diagnostic quality images for interpretation by a Radiologist/Cardiologist.

RequirementsMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent. Graduation from accredited radiologic technology program.CERTIFICATION/LICENSES: ARRT or Board eligible, New Mexico State licensure required. BLS certification required. For recent graduates, BLS certification required within six months of hire. ACLS obtained within the first year. SKILLS:

• Thorough knowledge of associated radiographic equipment, neurologic and cardiovascular anatomy and physiology, radiographic positioning, medical terminology and basic computer skills
• Thorough knowledge of interventional procedures in Cardiology and Radiology preferred
• Ability to read, write, and communicate verbally in English.EXPERIENCE: A graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program. One year radiologic experience preferred.NATURE OF SUPERVISION:-Responsible to: Manager, Cath LabENVIRONMENT:- Bloodborne pathogen CExposure to various body fluids and ionizing radiation.Works in a clean, well-lighted, ventilated smoke-free environment.
