Typically works under the direct guidance of a clinical professional within the environment of a clinical agency or a medical/hospital facility. May provide practical training and guidance to students and/or paraprofessional staff. Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures. Patient care assignment may include neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric age groups MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION: Master's Degree in related discipline EXPERIENCE: Documented experience in age appropriate environment LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: LMSW or LPC or LMHC TESTING REQUIREMENTS: Tuberculosis testing is completed upon hire and additionally as required PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: 1 year directly related experience Bilingual English/Spanish Bilingual English/Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo WORKING CONDITIONS ENVIRONMENTAL CONDITIONS: Minor Hazard - physical risks, dirt, dust, fumes, noise PHYSICAL CONDITIONS: Light Work: Exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly (Constantly: activity or condition exists 2/3 or more of the time) to move objects. Lead and train lower level counselors/social workers, students, and/or interns engaged in related therapeutic/patient care activities, as appropriate to the individual position. Ensure adherence to Hospitals and departmental policies and procedures. Patient care assignment may include neonate, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric age groups.
