You will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and solving complex business problems related to manufacturing and supply chain. You will collaborate with business stakeholders and determine analytical capabilities that will enable the creation of Insights-focused solutions that align to business needs and ensure that delivery of these solutions meet quality requirements.Responsibilities - Develop and maintain a system that supports other engineers, especially those working with generative AI technologies.
- Manage and support a team of developers, fostering collaboration, growth, and success.
- Utilize understanding of Generative AI and LLMs to enhance or direct development of application functionalities.
- Monitor the performance, scalability, and security of the platform.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in AI, full stack development, and cloud technologies.
- Perform basic risk assessments for small information systems and suggest alternate solutions or countermeasures to mitigate risks.
- Design test cases and test scripts, mapping back to pre-determined criteria, recording and reporting test outcomes.
- Elicit requirements for systems and software life cycle working practices and automation.
- Prepare design options for the working environment of methods, procedures, techniques, tools, and people.
- Undertake complete design of moderately complex software applications or components.
- Specify user and/or system interfaces.
- Assist as part of a team in the design of components of larger software systems.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies with the team to execute on prioritized projects and features.QualificationsRequired
- Expertise in solution architecture and system designs.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or any technology stream.
- 15+ years of experience in Solution Architecture, delivering projects as technical leader and managing teams.
- Experience with Generative AI, and Large Language Models (LLMs) and understanding of the capabilities and limitations of LLMs. Interactions of LLM's with the NLP/NLQ with tools like Watson Assistant, CoPilot Studio.
- Proficiency in common programming languages and frameworks for platform engineering (e.g., Java, Python, Spring Boot, Express).
- Basic familiarity with AI libraries and frameworks;
- Knowledge of databases (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB) and data structures.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in infrastructure design and implementation.
- Experience in Agile Ways of Working and delivery (Scrum, Kanban, Test Driven Development etc.).
- Experience in managing Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) principles.
- Experience driving and/or influencing a technical community
- Ability to lead requirements sessions with clients and project teams
- Strong leadership, verbal and written communication skills with ability to articulate results and issues to internal and client teams
- Demonstrated experience in the Life Science space
- Flexibility working with global teamsPreferred
