As an ECS Section Leader, you will oversee Systems Engineers who work as part of a cross-functional multi-disciplinary team to design, integrate, debug and test the next generation electronic warfare systems. These Systems Engineers deliver innovative solutions and technical contributions that include program estimation, program planning, system development, requirements development, integration and test and execution in a field deployment environment. Roles and Responsibilities: Lead and build a Systems Engineering team including:Recruit, retain, train, recognize, develop and assign team members as appropriate to meet business area needs.Develop individual and group goals and objectives.Communicate flow down.Collect and provide performance feedbackMentor careers by development of career and training plansEnsure group members adhere to BAE Systems' cultural principles, policies and visionTrack program execution through metrics and technical reviewsProvide support to program proposal cost estimates and reviewing Basis of Estimates, including Risks and Opportunities.BAE Systems offers competitive pay, benefits, and important work-life balance initiatives including every other Friday Off, Flextime, and Telecommuting.
