Position Summary: Reports to the Director, U.S. Oncology Communications, and serves as an integral member of the U.S. Hematology & Oncology Commercial Communications team. The Associate Director, U.S. Oncology Communications will support both brand and above brand messaging and the development of integrated internal and external communications plans and content for BMS' solid tumor oncology portfolio. Responsibil i ties: - Provide strategic communications and issues management counsel to internal stakeholders, and development and execution of strategic communications plans for U.S. market.
- Lead communications for a high volume of U.S. regulatory milestones, in close coordination with the Worldwide Oncology Commercial Communications team.
- Support market-shaping activities including consumer outreach and disease awareness programs.
- Work in close coordination with Commercial business partners, Drug Development Communications, Worldwide Commercialization Communications, Corporate Communications, Policy and Patient Advocacy colleagues to ensure alignment and support of enterprise priorities. Requirements:The successful candidate will be passionate about helping patients prevail over serious diseases. S/he will be a self-motivated leader with a track record of setting, driving and delivering against integrated communications strategies aligned with broader company objectives. S/he must be able to collaborate with mid- and senior-level leaders in the organization and have demonstrated ability to successfully lead and influence others. This individual will have a strong grasp of storytelling that can engage and energize employees and key external audiences, while fully supporting the company's business objectives.
