About this role: As a Senior Controls Engineer, you will be crucial to ALC's business through the designing of advanced building automation systems created specifically for each customer. We are looking for someone who works well in a team and has excellent problem-solving, time management, and multi-tasking skills. You will solve complex problems, provide input on new products and processes, and coach, review, and delegate work to less experienced engineering professionals. Key Responsibilities: - Design and program advanced building automation systems, site-specific configuration of control systems, and control algorithms.
- Develop and mentor other control engineers.
- Adhere to project requirements and company and customer standards of design, programming, and implementation.
- Create a clear design document for project teams with technical information.
- Document and communicate the building automation system design and revisions.
- Develop graphical and text-based interfaces for building automation systems.
- Test programming and interfaces before implantation.
- Provide technical support to sales representatives to ensure customers' needs are met.
- Support functional testing for complex building systems.
- Provide input and advise others on design and programming standards, including parts and practices.
Required Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree with 6 + years of engineering or building automation experience; OR Associate's Degree with 8 + years of engineering or building automation experience; OR High School Diploma or GED and 10 + years of engineering or building automation experience.
