Margin AnalystBCforward is currently seeking a highly motivated Margin Analyst for an opportunity in Jersey City, NJ!Position Title: Margin AnalystLocation: Jersey City, NJAnticipated Start Date: 05/16/2024.Please note this is the target date and is subject to change. BCforward will send official notice ahead of a confirmed start date.Expected Duration: 6 Months contract + Possible extension/ FTE conversion.Job Type: Contract/HybridPay Range: $42.57/Hour - $43.45/Hour Job Description:Requirements:This role is for a Margin Analyst within Wealth Management Capital Markets Operations. The candidate will be supporting the heritage securities cash and margin accounts of Organization. Strong Excel and analytical skills are required, whereas an introductory knowledge of Margin lending and the trading mechanics of various security types (equities, fixed income, options) is preferred. Some of the primary duties of this role include:

• Monitoring daily exception reports and working with account representatives to resolve
• Maintaining client attributes and updating margin haircuts in response to market conditions and risk evaluations
• Producing simulated margin calculations upon request by clients and Risk partners
• Generating metrics and KPI reporting to senior management
• Approving collateral withdrawals (wires, security deliveries, journal entries)Required
  • BA or BS degree is required.
  • Accounting or Finance a plus 2-3 years of experience in Investment Banking Operations including 1 year of Derivatives knowledge is required.
  • Prior experience or knowledge of the following products a plus; credit default swaps, credit spread.
