Minimum 1+ years EP Lab experience required.Job Title: EP Lab Tech (Electrophysiology Lab)Location: Manchester, NHJob Description:The EP Lab Tech (Electrophysiology Lab) position involves crucial responsibilities within the Electrophysiology Lab, focusing on diagnosing and treating electrical abnormalities and cardiac conditions. The successful candidate will be proficient in operating technical equipment, assisting during procedures, and ensuring smooth lab operations. This role requires adherence to strict safety protocols, accurate charting, and efficient room setup and turnover.Key Responsibilities:- Operate technical equipment within the Electrophysiology Lab- Assist during procedures by scrubbing cases and providing necessary support- Maintain stock levels and ensure adequate supplies for procedures- Ensure proper room setup and turnover between cases- Accurate charting and documentation using Allscripts - Sunrise 6.1 EMR systemRequired Qualifications:- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification- Current ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification- ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification- New Hampshire Imaging and Radiation License- EP Technologists must hold RCES (Registered Cardiac Electrophysiology Specialist), RCIS (Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist), or RT (Radiologic Technologist) certification- Procedural experience, preferably in Electrophysiology; Cath Lab experience is considered beneficialAdditional Information:- Guaranteed 40 hours per week- Shifts: Four 10-hour shifts per week, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM- Weeknight/Call Requirement: Four staff members assigned to stay late for one room past 5:30 PM- No weekend or holiday call requirement- Scrub color/dress code provided by the hospital- Brief intensive orientation program lasting 2-3 weeks- License submission is required, with willingness to wait if necessaryNote: Candidates without the required licensure or background hits will only be considered for this opening.by Jobble More...
