Job Description Ready to make a difference? BAE Systems is looking Systems Engineering Leads to work as part of a cross-functional, multi-disciplinary team to design, integrate, debug, and test next generation EW systems. Focused on delivering innovative Electronic Warfare (EW) solutions, individual technical contributions on a related range of Programs will include system development, requirements development, integration & test, and test planning and execution in a field deployment environment. Responsibilities may include:Leading a medium or large team of Systems Engineers on EW related programsManaging all system engineering content and work productsUnderstanding and implementing the product development processSchedule and cost account responsibilities for systems teamExecution of systems planning and requirements developmentCreation and review of systems requirements to include, software, component, subsystem, and operational conceptsAllocation of requirements to engineering disciplinesCreating system test plans, procedures and reportsLeading product design, development, integration, and verificationWill have outside contact with customers, other contractors and government officials.Manage and participate in trade studies, peer reviews, and customer meetingsPreparing and delivering technical presentations internally and with customers.Monitor and report metrics such as System Technical Performance MeasuresSupports proposal development activities, including proposal text development, cost and schedule estimating, and presentation activities.This position will require you to be onsite in either Nashua NH or Manchester NH. Because of the need for consistent, in-person collaboration and/or the requirement to perform all work onsite due to the nature of this particular role, it will be performed full-time on site. This means work will be conducted on location at a BAE Systems facility 100% of the time.See what you're missing. Come build your career with BAE Systems.Required Education, Experience, & Skills - Bachelor's Degree of Science (or equivalent experience in a relevant field) with a minimum work experience of:
- 12+ Years with BS
- 10+ Years with MS
- 8+ Year with PHD
- Possess an Active US Government security clearance (with ability to possess TS)
- Leadership skills and experience directing and mentoring engineers on complex programs
- Expert in effectively documenting, communicating, leading and working with a team on designs, results, reports, and presentations.
- Experience performing systems engineering activities across the development cycle (analysis/decomposition/derivation/allocation of requirements, system modeling & simulation, system design & development, system integration & test)
- Experience developing viable concept solutions, identifying and tracking technical risks, and leading technical teamsPreferred Education, Experience, & Skills
