Early Intervention Specialists are responsible for interfacing with office and industrial clients to assess employee health status and create an individualized plan for improvement. - Apply their scientific knowledge and education to the industrial environment
- Through observation of employee work performance, assess body mechanics, determine risk and create a plan for mitigation
- Perform and document all employee treatments within the workplace efficiently and completely with a strong ability to integrate feedback for continuous improvement.
- Understand OSHA recordkeeping rules as they pertain to first aid (29 CFR 1904.7)
- Proactively address postural discomfort through education and job-specific coaching with the goal of eliminating postural contributions to the injury
- Assist with medical surveillance testing and clinic operations
- Assist to identify, develop, and provide employee health education and training on wellness and disease prevention topics to optimize the health of the population
- Work within the jurisdictional guidelines for clinical care
- Take outcome data and convert to client-specific reports
