This position entails assisting dentists specializing in areas such as orthodontics, periodontics, or pediatric dentistry. The candidate will play a crucial role in providing top-notch dental care tailored to each specialty's unique demands. The role requires a proactive approach in preparing treatment areas, sterilizing instruments, and supporting dental procedures while ensuring patient comfort and maintaining accurate records. Prepare and maintain dental instruments, supplies, and equipment. Collect and record patient health histories. Assist specialty dentists during procedures by providing necessary tools and materials. Provide postoperative instructions as prescribed by the dentist. Manage infection control - prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment. Assist with dental x-rays and processing of film as directed by the dentist. Manage patient scheduling and billing.
