Job Description Radiologic Technologist – CT / Mammography / Special Procedures Location: Las Vegas, NV Schedule: Full-Time Position Summary Performs diagnostic imaging exams in specialized areas including mammography, computed tomography (CT), and special procedures. Utilizes advanced imaging equipment, techniques, and computer systems to ensure accurate, high-quality diagnostic services. Minimum Requirements Education Completion of an AMA-approved Radiologic Technology program Licensure & Certification State of Nevada Radiology License ARRT Registered in Radiography National certification in specialty area (CT or Angiography preferred) Basic Life Support (BLS – AHA accepted) Preferred Qualifications ARRT Registered in Computed Tomography Minimum 3 years of CT experience in a trauma setting Experience performing CT interventional exams Knowledge & Skills Knowledge of Radiography and CT protocols Specialized imaging equipment Quality assurance and control Anatomy and physiology Contrast administration and reaction management Venipuncture techniques Infection control and safety procedures Skills in Operating advanced imaging equipment Utilizing diagnostic software applications Proper patient positioning Applying aseptic techniques Communicating effectively with diverse patient populations Building strong interdisciplinary relationships Physical Requirements Ability to stand and/or walk for extended periods Occasional lifting up to 100 lbs Frequent lifting up to 50 lbs Constant lifting up to 20 lbs Mobility within clinical environments Compensation & Benefits Retirement & Financial Benefits Pension vesting after 5 years 457 Deferred Compensation Plan No Social Security (FICA) deduction No Nevada State Income Tax Health & Insurance Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Comprehensive Group Health coverage Employee-only coverage available for less than $20 per paycheck Extended Illness Bank Paid Leave Consolidated Annual Leave (Vacation, Sick Leave, Personal Leave, Doctor Appointments) Twelve scheduled holidays per year More...
