Position Summary The Front of House (FOH) Team Member is responsible for delivering an exceptional guest experience from the moment a guest walks through the door until they leave. This role includes operating the register, coordinating orders, expo support, lobby hospitality, and maintaining a clean, welcoming environment. FOH team members are the face of the brand and play a critical role in driving sales, accuracy, and guest satisfaction. Key Responsibilities Greet every guest with a positive, upbeat, and professional attitude Accurately take orders at the register and handle cash and card transactions Communicate clearly with the kitchen and expo team to ensure order accuracy and speed Assist with order expo and food handoff to ensure quality and presentation standards are met Perform lobby table touches to check on guests, address concerns, and create memorable experiences Promote upselling and suggestive selling to increase average check size Maintain cleanliness of the front of house, including lobby, restrooms, beverage stations, counters, and dining areas Restock front-of-house items such as cups, lids, napkins, sauces, and drink supplies Follow all food safety, sanitation, and brand standards Support team members during peak business hours and maintain a team-first mindset What We’re Looking For A friendly, outgoing, and guest-focused personality Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Willingness to learn, grow, and accept coaching Reliability, punctuality, and a strong work ethic Previous restaurant or customer service experience is a plus, but not required Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 25–30 pounds Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-energy environment Why Work at Houston TX Hot Chicken?
