Job Description Job Description We are looking for a dedicated Staff Accountant to join a well-established manufacturing company in North Las Vegas, Nevada. As part of a close-knit accounting team, you will play a vital role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and supporting month-end processes. Responsibilities: • Prepare and post journal entries to ensure accurate financial records. • Perform monthly bank reconciliations to maintain balance sheet accuracy. • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently. • Reconcile balance sheet accounts and provide supporting schedules. • Assist in completing month-end close activities, including generating reports. • Utilize accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP for financial operations. • Maintain and update the general ledger system to reflect current financial data. • Analyze financial statements to identify discrepancies and resolve issues. • Collaborate with team members to improve accounting processes and implement best practices. • Support audits by providing necessary documentation and financial information.• Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or related roles. • Proficiency in accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger accounting. • Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and journal entries. • Experience with accounting software such as NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or SAP. • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and formulas. • Ability to perform accurate reconciliations for bank accounts and balance sheets. • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. • Positive attitude and strong work ethic with the ability to work independently or collaboratively.
