Pay: $145,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year Job description: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Nellis AFB, Las Vegas, Nevada Overview Frontera Search Partners is seeking a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to provide outpatient pediatric care at Mike O'Callaghan Military Medical Center on Nellis Air Force Base in Las Vegas, Nevada. This is an exceptional opportunity to care for military children and families in a collaborative outpatient setting while enjoying a predictable Monday-Friday schedule with no call responsibilities, no weekends, and federal holidays off. Providers work alongside an interdisciplinary healthcare team delivering comprehensive primary care services to newborns, infants, children, and adolescents. Position Details Position: Pediatric Nurse Practitioner Location: Mike O'Callaghan Military Medical Center Nellis Air Force Base Las Vegas, Nevada Schedule: - Monday-Friday
- 7:30 AM 4:30 PM
- One-hour lunch break
- No call
- No weekends
- Federal holidays off
Patient Population: Military children, dependents, and family members Responsibilities - Perform well-child examinations and preventive care visits
- Conduct developmental screenings and assessments
- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic pediatric conditions
- Administer and manage immunizations
- Order and interpret diagnostic testing
- Develop treatment plans and provide patient and family education
- Coordinate care with physicians and specialty providers as needed
- Participate in clinic quality initiatives and team-based care activities
Qualifications - Master's or Doctoral degree from an accredited Pediatric Nurse Practitioner program
- Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in any U.S. state or territory
- Current Pediatric Nurse Practitioner certification through PNCB or ANCC
- Current PALS certification
- Current BLS certification
- Recent pediatric clinical experience
- Ability to obtain military treatment facility privileges
