Plan A Technologies is looking for a strategic, execution-focused Head of Product Management to lead and scale our product function. Reporting to the Chief Commercial Officer, this leader will work closely with the CEO to transform the CEO's product vision into world-class experiences for poker players and customers.The Head of Product Management will be responsible for building the product management discipline-defining the systems, standards, and processes that guide product development and delivery. This role requires strong collaboration across engineering, design, operations, and executive leadership to ensure flawless execution and continuous optimization. Over time, you will grow and lead a high-performing product team as the company scales. This is an exciting job with room for significant career growth.Please note: you must have at least 7+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years in a senior or leadership role to be considered for this role.RESPONSIBILITIES Collaborate closely with the CEO to understand and operationalize his product vision, taking full ownership of translating strategic concepts into structured plans, requirements, and execution that result in best-in-class products for poker players and industry stakeholders. Build and lead the product management function, establishing tools, documentation standards, rituals, and best practices that promote consistency, velocity, and transparency. Document current systems, user journeys, and product flows to establish a clear baseline of existing functionality. Create detailed annotated wireframes, functional specifications, technical requirements, and user stories to guide engineering and design teams. Develop and manage a formal intake process for new product initiatives-including intake documentation, effort estimation, business case development, cost/benefit analysis, and prioritization. Own the end-to-end product lifecycle, from discovery and planning to delivery, iteration, and sunsetting. Drive cross-functional collaboration with engineering, design, operations, marketing, and executive leadership to align resources and ensure high-quality, timely product releases. Implement and scale A/B testing, experimentation, and conversion rate optimization (CRO) programs to continuously improve user experience and performance. Define, track, and communicate product KPIs and success metrics, enabling data-driven prioritization and ongoing performance evaluation. Champion the voice of the customer, integrating research, feedback, and usage data into all stages of product development. Provide executive leadership with regular visibility into roadmap progress, risks, resourcing needs, and outcomes. Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing product management team as organizational demands grow.EXPERIENCE 7+ years of product management experience, including 2+ years in a senior or leadership role. MBA or advanced degree in business, technology, or design (optional but a plus). Proven success delivering B2C or B2B2C digital products with measurable business and user impact. Experience working closely with founders or CEOs to translate strategic vision into product execution. Strong hands-on experience with writing user stories, functional and technical requirements, wireframes, and process flows. Demonstrated expertise in building and scaling product management systems and teams in high-growth environments. Proficiency with product development and collaboration tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Productboard, Figma). Solid understanding of Agile methodologies and lean product development practices. Deep knowledge of experimentation, A/B testing, and CRO best practices. Exceptional communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills. Highly analytical, customer-obsessed, and execution-oriented. Experience in fast-paced startups or growth-stage technology companies. Familiarity with poker, gaming, or hospitality industries. Background in mobile product development. Experience working closely with UX/UI teams or with strong product design sensibility. Proficiency with analytics and experimentation platforms (e.g., Mixpanel, Amplitude, Google Optimize, Optimizely). Have solid written and verbal English skills.
