Tradeshow Services Manager

Position Overview: Astound Group is looking for a Tradeshow Services Manager who will be responsible for overseeing the end-to-end process of facilitating trade show booths. This role involves meticulous planning, coordination, and execution of various elements such as logistics, shipping, transportation, rigging, labor contracting, advance warehousing, electrical and internet scheduling, client invoicing, and schedule management. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the tradeshow industry, specifically in managing the installation and dismantle of booths. The Tradeshow Services Manager should be highly organized, adaptable, and possess excellent problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive plans for trade show booth logistics, ensuring seamless execution.
• Coordinate shipping and transportation to and from the venue, including advance warehousing when necessary.
• Oversee rigging and labor contracting to ensure the efficient installation and dismantle of trade show booths.
• Manage schedules, ensuring all elements of the booth setup are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate electrical and internet scheduling to meet the specific requirements of each trade show.
• Handle client invoicing and maintain clear communication throughout the project.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during the planning and execution phases.
• Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices to continuously improve processes. Qualifications:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in the tradeshow industry, with a focus on booth installation and dismantle.
  • Proven track record of managing complex logistics and schedules for trade show events.
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under pressure and make quick, informed decisions.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools.
