The Azure Cloud Engineer will collaborate with key stakeholders at Libra Solutions to understand their technology needs and implement the best solutions. You will be responsible for all infrastructure systems, including but not limited to, implementing updates, security, and compliance changes, and adjusting existing protocols and settings to meet team and security demands. You will lead multiple projects to enhance security, compliance, and overall user experience, while working with the IT team and all related stakeholders to roll out implementations. You will also serve as a point of contact to assist managed service partners and IT team members with complex issues and escalations. We are looking for someone who is eager to learn, has a desire to expand their skill set and be a dedicated member of our team.This position will report to the Director, TechOps and Security. Candidates should live in the greater Las Vegas market and be able to work on a hybrid basis with in and out of the office workdays.Position Responsibilities: - Review and approve all vulnerability remediation activities
- Member of Change Advisory Board - Reviewing/Approving all infrastructure changes
- Serve as escalation point for internal and external IT team members
- Network and Server troubleshooting
- Properly escalate tickets as needed
- Must be accurate and consistent in the execution of policies and procedures
- Must be able to establish and maintain good relationships with colleagues internally and external partners
- Deploy, monitor, and troubleshoot server (both physical and virtual) equipment and networks.
- Manage server services, including Active Directory, DHCP, DNS, GPO, and File Servers.
- Provide tier 2/3 support for end user support requests and manage workstations, servers, and virtual machines.
- Deploy various virtualization technologies, such as Microsoft's Hyper-V and VMWare ESX
- Provide day to day administration of MFA, SSO, and Identity Management.
- Plan, schedule, and coordinate software and server upgrades and patches.
- Enforce IT security policies and handle limited administration duties.
- Perform regular system backups and ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.
- Partner with the engineering teams to develop and maintain documentation of the evolving environment for IT and security focused audits.
- Collaborate with third-party vendors to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Identify opportunities for automation of IT functions.
- Implement and maintain security measures for safeguarding IT assets and data.
- Evaluate and recommend IT solutions to improve system efficiency and user experience.
- Serves as technical point of contact for Libra's MS vendor/partner
- Conducts research, makes recommendations for new Microsoft & closely related technologies
- Develops, documents, and enforces the standards, security procedures, and controls for access to ensure the integrity of AD and related systems
- Provides guidance for configuration of endpoint protection and device restriction profiles
- Ensure that incident tickets and outages are responded to and resolved in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
- Collaborates with internal and external departments to accomplish various tasks and projects; Interact with executive-level business users or technical experts
