Title: Supply Chain Location: Las Vegas, NV Compensation: Base salary of $150 - 175k Benefits: Comprehensive benefits to include 100% of health care expenses for employee. Vaccine Requirement: Not required Position Description: The Supply Manager's responsibilities include developing and implementing procurement strategies to acquire equipment and materials to facilitate the construction of buildings. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their requirements, negotiate pricing and contracts with vendors, and ensure cost-effectiveness. Managing supplier relationships, assessing market trends, and maintaining a streamlined procurement process are crucial aspects of the role. Additionally, monitoring inventory levels, tracking deliveries, and ensuring compliance with quality and constructability standards. Other responsibilities: --- Oversee the department's equipment procurement team, setting goals, managing staff, and ensuring successful procurement and delivery of construction equipment to meet goals --- Train and mentor employees, planning, assigning, delegating, and directing work --- Optimize costs through effective negotiation, bulk purchasing, and value analysis while maintaining high-quality standards for technology products and services --- Ensure procurement processes comply with relevant regulations, industry standards, and internal policies, particularly focusing on data security and privacy requirements --- Stay up-to-date on market trends, technological advancements, and supplier capabilities to make informed decisions and identify opportunities for innovation --- Assess and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities, including potential disruptions in the supply chain or changes in vendor capabilities --- Monitor and manage inventory levels, ensuring availability of necessary equipment and minimizing excess stock or shortages --- Collaborate with department leadership to develop and manage procurement budgets, tracking expenditures and providing regular updates to leadership --- Identify opportunities for process improvements within the procurement lifecycle, implementing efficient workflows and technologies to enhance overall effectiveness --- Integrate sustainable and environmentally friendly procurement practices where applicable --- Keep accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and vendor interactions, supporting transparency and audit requirements Requirements: --- Strong negotiation skills and financial acumen --- Experience with vendor management --- Ability to manage and grow team members --- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Procore --- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or related field --- Experience: 5 years of experience in procurement, project management/coordination, project estimating, and supply chain management or related roles More...
